What Happens When the Clock Hits Zero?
The countdown is on. Every milestone unlocks something new.
New Year Countdown Unlock turns the countdown to 2027 into an interactive digital experience, with new prizes, offers and surprises becoming available as customers move closer to midnight.
How It Works
Enter → Countdown → Reach Milestone → Unlock → Discover → Return → Share → Midnight
Enter – Customers register and join the New Year countdown.
Countdown – A live digital clock shows the time remaining until the next unlock.
Reach Milestone – Predetermined milestones become available as New Year approaches.
Unlock – Open the latest milestone to reveal what’s waiting.
Discover – Reveal a prize, offer, discount or competition opportunity.
Return – The next milestone remains locked behind another countdown.
Share – Invite friends and family to join before the next unlock.
Midnight – The countdown reaches its final New Year reveal.
Every Countdown Leads to Something
Campaign milestones can be configured around the experience.
For example:
72 HOURS ✓ → 48 HOURS ✓ → 24 HOURS ✓ → 12 HOURS 🔒 → MIDNIGHT 🔒
Each milestone can reveal something different, giving customers another reason to return as the countdown gets closer to New Year.
Build Towards the Midnight Reveal
The final countdown becomes the campaign’s biggest moment.
Customers can see Midnight waiting from the beginning, but what it unlocks remains a mystery until the countdown reaches zero.
That final reveal could feature the campaign’s biggest prize, promotion, offer or New Year experience.
